In these market conditions I just don't see the need to get anything outside of a Cali already registered Mini.

It must be 1975 or earlier, no exceptions, unless you like tilting at windmills. Steve You will learn more about Minis by driving one for 30 minutes than if you read every book written about them.

that's correct you cannot register a 1980 mini in Calif. it must be before 1975 or something like that. It has been discussed almost monthly. Set the search feature back 365 days and read past posts. And welcome to the board. Glad you asked before you bought rather then after.

I am thinking about buying a 1980 Mini but I have heard you cannot license them here. Could someone please help me out. Thanks.
